Grace and Truth to Fight The War On Our Minds

The fear of failure.

Self-condemnation.

Mom guilt.

There are so many ways Satan likes to taunt us.

I read a Facebook post yesterday that said something to the effect of, “Just when I think I’m doing okay my anxiety pipes in and says, ‘It’s like you don’t even care about what happened in the third grade anymore.'”

I laughed. You probably did too. But the stark reality is far from funny.

Satan isn’t out for giggles. He is waging an all-out war on our minds.

I found a few of the lies he likes to tell in Barbara’s post on Stray Thoughts. But more than just pointing out the lies, her post talks about how to defeat them.

And I don’t know about you, but sometimes I need a little encouragement when it comes to taking up arms against the enemy. So without further ado, here’s Barbara’s post.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing my post. I’m finding that weeding out wrong thoughts is something I need to do every day. May God give us grace to keep renewing our minds with His truth.

  2. Oh goodness. Yes, I did just laugh too at the Facebook post about not caring what happened in third grade anymore. That puts things into perspective, Heather. lol.

And I see we both chose Barbara’s post as our featured post! That must mean it was exceptionally good. 🙂
