Meet Heather
Heather Hart is an internationally best-selling and award-winning author with over fifty books in her portfolio. Her articles have been featured in magazines and online. Heather has also spoken to small groups in person and to thousands through podcasts, radio shows, webinars, and other online events.
As the founder of Candidly Christian, Heather started a movement to encourage women to be open and honest about the struggles they face in their everyday lives. Her goal isn’t to teach women how they can do more, be better, or achieve perfection, it’s to point them to Jesus. Because life is hard, but God is good.
At the Feet of Jesus
One of my favorite people in all of Scripture is Mary of Bethany. She had a heart for Jesus like none other. We first meet her in Luke 10, sitting at the feet of Jesus (verse 39). Later, in John 12, Mary returns to the feet of Jesus, dousing them with expensive perfume and wiping them clean with her hair.
While Mary is my favorite person in the Bible, I started to wonder about others who spent time at the feet of Jesus. The bleeding woman. Those at the foot of the cross. Jairus. Mary Magdalene. The Syrophoenician Woman. There were so many people in the Bible who spent time at the feet of Jesus.
