Thank You!

Hi, I’m Heather Hart…

…the founder of Candidly Christian. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making a donation to support our ministry. I understand making a financial investment is an important decision and wanted to let you know how much we appreciate it.

Our ministry is the product of Christian women who are willing to get candid and share their struggles. We do it so other Christian women know they don’t walk through this life alone. We want you to know you don’t struggle alone. We want you to know that it’s okay if you don’t have it all together.

Where this all began

Back around 2009 another Christian mom confessed to me that she didn’t have it all together. And she wasn’t just any mom, she was the mom I wanted to be.

She was our pastor’s daughter-in-law, super fit, and a stay-at-home, super mom who was part of the worship team and an international missionary. I’m telling you, she was everything a good Christian should be from my standpoint, and she knew her Bible inside and out. But she still struggled. She struggled with being a good mom. She struggled with depression. She struggled with all kinds of things I never would have guessed by seeing her at church and Bible study every week.

Her confession lifted a huge burden from me. It was like I realized it was okay to have struggles as a Christian woman. That I didn’t have to hide my imperfections. It was that conversation that led to the birth of Candidly Christian in 2016. I want other Christian women to know that they don’t struggle alone.

How it’s going…

“I just came across your post and I’m so thankful that I’m not alone in this.”

“Your post may very well have saved my life tonight. Bless you. I was just about ready to give up.”

“I love that a Christian is speaking out about this.”

“Wow, this really resonates with me…Thank you so much for discussing such an important concept through the lens of God’s love!”

“I’m so glad I found this site to see I’m not the only believer struggling with this.”

“Thank you for this article. I would appreciate your prayers, since I am confident you will pray from a heart that genuinely knows my struggle.”
