When You Feel Too Far Gone to Be Used by God
I used to think that to be used by God, I had to be perfect. That I had to have it all together. That I had to be the girl who never messed up.
But the truth is, I’ve been the girl who walked away from her faith. I’ve been the girl who said she loved Jesus but lived like she didn’t. I’ve known what it feels like to be broken and ashamed and far from God.
And I’ve also known what it feels like when He gently calls you back anyway.
His Grace is Enough
At fifteen, I rededicated my life to Christ after a season of drifting. I was tired of living for myself—tired of pretending to be someone I wasn’t. I surrendered everything at His feet and asked Him to make something out of the mess I’d made.
And He did.
God didn’t wait for me to clean myself up first. He didn’t wait for me to prove that I was “good enough.” He simply met me where I was and reminded me that His grace covers everything.
That moment changed everything for me—not just spiritually, but personally and even professionally. As someone who had always loved business, I felt this new passion rising in me to create something that would point people to Jesus. Something bold, something beautiful, something that sparked conversation.
We Can Be Used By God
That’s how Make Heaven Crowded was born. It’s not just a brand. It’s a reminder that even in our imperfections, God can use us. That He delights in using the broken to reach the broken. That Heaven isn’t full yet—and there’s still time to live boldly and love deeply.
Jesus said, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation” (Mark 16:15, ESV). That’s what I want my life to do. Whether through a hoodie, a conversation, or a simple act of love—I want people to know there’s still room in Heaven, and it’s not too late to turn back to Him.
