Grace and Truth and The Shades of Love
The shades of love… if you’re wondering, I’m not talking about the 80’s dance music or lingerie. I’m talking about the varying degrees and different definitions we have for love.
Most of us know that there are different kinds of love. God’s love is unconditional. The love we have for our favorite jeans is fleeting. We might love the way our hair looks on a certain day, but that love is nothing compared to the love we have when we hold our new born baby for the first time.
That’s what I stumbled across this week when I was reading Aimee’s post, “What Do You Mean You Don’t Love Me?” She started by introducing us to the love at first sight between Jacob and Rachel, and then walked us into something much deeper and something that hit much closer to home.
