Today, I’m doing laundry. Can I admit something to you?
I am the queen of stains. I truly don’t know how I miss my mouth so often, but ultimately, a bite of lunch lands on my blouse.
It can be downright embarrassing and frustrating. I have ruined many pieces of clothing. No matter how much I pre-treat, scrub, soak, and wash my tops, far too many of them are still stained, and I have to throw away another lovely blouse.
Unfortunately, life does the same thing.
We get ugly stains on ourselves from various sins, and no matter what we do, we can’t remove them by ourselves.
But you know what works perfectly on getting those stains out in one try?
Jesus!
Jesus is the stain remover who can take out every spot or blemish. His love for you will cleanse the most difficult stains—even the ones that have been there for decades!

Jesus said that, after we ask for His forgiveness, our sins are as far as the east is from the west. This means Jesus removed our stain of sin, and He doesn’t even remember what the stain was anymore.
His forgiveness gives us the ability to see ourselves as cleansed from our sin by His righteousness, grace, and mercy. Jesus is the ultimate stain remover. Not only does He remove our stain, but He makes us sparkle and shine!
