  1. Thanks for sharing your heart with us, Jaime! I think too often I get stuck fighting my battles on the wrong front. I forget the spiritual war being waged around us and stuck on the tangible world I live in. This is definitely something I need to spend more time thinking about.

  2. Yesterday I was worried, fearful and felt helpless. Then, I remembered I had not prayed about the situation. I had asked others to do so, but had yet to do so myself. Once I did I felt better and immediately saw an improvement on the situation! Often times I want to fight standing up and “doing” something that I forget to get on my knees and pray!

    1. I love that you felt that relief and peace when you remembered to go to God yourself. I do the same thing, sometimes asking others to pray about things and realizing I need to just stop and talk to the Lord about it myself. Thank you for sharing, Cassie!

  3. I definitely want to strengthen my prayer life. I am not the prayer warrior that I should be. Pray for me.

    1. I’m praying for you now, Amy. Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” I know God hears your desire to grow in your prayer life and is even at this moment working in you to accomplish it. Blessings to you!

  4. I’ve been praying for us to buy a house. Our credit was wrecked. Aside from paying and actively working, I did a whole lot of praying. But since last July it seemed it would not move. At all. Ever.

I think my biggest prayer victory was sometime last month, when I surrendered to God in the process. I asked for the right numbers and that pre-approval, but more importantly, I asked God to accomplish what He wanted to do in my heart. I asked Him to adjust my attitude so that I was satisfied in Him and so that He would be glorified in me while I waited.

And now we’re only 15 points away from what the bank is asking for!

    1. Thank you so much for that testimony, Maria! Isn’t it amazing the power that comes from those prayers of surrender? Sometimes the miracle happens inside of us, and sometimes we see big movement in our situations…and sometimes both. Praise God!
