Remembering His Goodness, Grace & Truth
A lot of things didn’t go as planned for me this week, and I know I can say the same for Heather.
Whether it’s big things, little things, or the same-old things, sometimes I just get cranky with life. And that’s how I’ve felt today. And yesterday. And most of last weekend…
But tonight Maryleigh’s post Remember Me Monday: #5, reminded me of one of my favorite Bible verses. It’s sort of my post-cancer victory verse and a reason why I write.
Come and listen all who fear God, and I will tell you what He has done for me. I cried out to Him with my mouth and praise was on my tongue
Psalm 66:17
Every Monday, Maryleigh writes to “Just Remember Him and what He has done, and let the gratitude of your heart guide you.”

Remember Me Mondays is a reminder to remember God’s goodness. Because He is good, even when life is annoying, and especially when life is just plain hard.
Join Maryleigh on Blue Cotton Memory to remember both the little blessings in major miracles in your life. And then thank Him, praise Him, and see how lifting His name will lighten your heart.

Let’s Talk About Jesus…
We are putting together an anthology that’s all about putting our faith into words.
Sound interesting?
I appreciate Maryleigh’s post as well. Sometimes if I don’t intentionally remember, I will forget. And I don’t want to forget God’s favor. I need to remember it especially on those days like you’ve had, when things go awry.
It’s funny how we forget to remember, isn’t it – and especially when we need to remember the most. Thankfully God never forgets about us. Thanks for stopping by, Lisa!
I love taking the time to remember all God has done. I like that she does it regularly. I journal – I will remember…. list but not near enough. Thank you for the gentle push. Maree
That’s a gret practice – to make a list from your journal. Music does it for me. I think regardless of how we do it, it’s worship as long as it’s from our heart. Thanks for visiting Maree!
