Isolation, Exposure, Grace, & Truth
Have you ever been afraid to tell somebody something? Or afraid you will be found out?
So like, I heard a car drive by just a bit ago, and I thought it pulled into my driveway, and I was afraid someone was here?
Why?
Because it was noon and I was still in my pajamas. Talk about embarrassing.
Thankfully, it drove on by and I took the opportunity to get dressed.
But there are other times I have been afraid of being exposed. It sounds crazy, but I am sometimes afraid to check my email because someone might have emailed me to check on something I haven’t done yet.

The fear of exposure can lead us to isolate ourselves.
I don’t think I ever fully realized that until I read Erin’s post this week, but it’s true.
When we are afraid of being exposed, we tend to pull back and protect ourselves. Isolating ourselves from those around us.
If this is something you struggle with or even something you have never thought about before, I highly encourage you to head over to Raise Your Sword and read Erin’s post on how to overcome the fear of exposure.
