My mother’s answer to my childhood fears usually came as a question: “It’s not really that bad, Valerie. What’s the worst thing that could happen?”
After I disclosed the worst-case scenario, she’d provide solutions and assure me that even the worst “isn’t the end of the world.”
Until I buried my best friend at age 21 and it was the end of my world as I’d known it.
We live in a world broken by sin, so life is like that sometimes. But I’ve learned that even when the worst really is that bad, we still have hope in Jesus.Yet, there is always good news even in the seemingly gloomy times. Always. Because God is good – all the time. – Paris Renae Click To Tweet
We love hearing about the hope, but it comes with a caveat. Did you catch it? Hope in Jesus. The realization of that hope for today, tomorrow, and for eternity depends on you accepting Jesus as your savior.
Similar to just about every post she writes, today’s featured post by Paris Renae left me speechless.
