Grace & Truth When You Need It Most
Before you do anything,
Proverbs 16:3 TPT
put your trust totally in God and not in yourself.
Then every plan you make will succeed.
After having a migraine every day for three and a half years, I’ve finally gotten some relief. My head still hurts every day, but nothing like it use to be… well, most days that is.
My problem is that I’m feeling so much better, I want to complete everything I haven’t been able to do. So I’m trying to do 3.5 years of work in a month.
Let’s just say, it’s not going well.
Peace for the Pivot
After burning out last week, I knew I needed to make some hard choices. In the words of Laura Thomas, I needed to pivot.
Do you need peace for the pivot? Click To TweetWhen I came across her post in the link-up, I felt like I found a soul sister.
Her struggle is different than mine, but I so relate. And maybe you can too.
Whether you are dealing with health issues, being a workaholic, or just need to see a change, I do hope you’ll hop over to Laura’s post and check it out. She offers so much peace for the pivot.

The Missing Link
Last week after being so overwhelmed, I came across Proverbs 16:3 by accident. I was looking up a verse in Proverbs 15, and my Bible has them on the same page. It’s the verse I opened this post with, and I wanted to share why.
I was trying to do so much, I was getting overwhelmed.
But do you know what I wasn’t doing?
I wasn’t praying about it.
I was putting my trust in my health instead of Jesus.
I love 1 Thessalonians 5:24 where it says, “The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.” But often I forget the middle step.
Yes God has called me to be an author, blogger, and help others do the same, but before I do that, I need to put my trust in Him. I need to pray about my plans.
That’s really something I needed to write for myself, but who knows, maybe you needed to read it, too.
