A Christmas Prayer

Christmas is quickly approaching and I’ve been spending an increasing amount of time in prayer. So today, I wanted to share a simple Christmas prayer with you and a Christmas prayer for you.

A Simple Christmas Prayer

Father God,
Thank You for Christmas. Thank You for sending Your Son, Immanuel, for us. 1 John 4:8 says You are love. I am so grateful for that. Even when I don’t feel lovable, I can trust that You are who You say You are. And I can believe in Christmas. I can believe that You sent Your Son to be born in a manger and die on the cross for me. Thank You for that. In Jesus’ name I pray; amen.

A Christmas Prayer for You

Father God,
I pray for the woman who is reading this. May she have a peace-filled Christmas and be able to relax. Help her to enjoy the moments. Thank You for loving her and being with her no matter where she finds herself this year. In all the holiday hustle and bustle, help her find her way to You. Help her cling to You when the stress sets in, and praise You when things go well. More than anything, Lord, I pray that she knows she is loved this Christmas.
In Jesus’ name I pray; amen.

Christmas is coming, are you ready for the holiday season?

Sometimes the holiday can be filled with anxiety or even depression. My hope for you this Christmas season (and always) is that you will lean into Jesus. Remember that you are loved by Him. That He is with you no matter what your holiday season looks like this year.
